Today’s post is from Ethan S, 6/7 Boys Counselor.
The whole camp went to Valley Stream to enjoy a barbecue lunch and to have lots of fun in the park. The 6/7 boys loved to play in the Playground where they swung on the swings and they run around. Some of the 6/7s even played basketball with the older kids whichhey played horse, all around the world, and 1 on 1 matches. We then made tie dye shirts using various paints and such. After they finsihed making their tie dye, we sat down at the park benches where we served the kids hamburgers, chips, and water. All the kids love the hamburgers and they always ask for seconds. After we finsihed eating, we headed back on the bus and we went back to camp. When we came back to camp, the 6/7 boys played board games such as sorry and connect four in our homebases. After we finished playing the board games, we headed to swim with thr 6/7 girls where they had both instructional and free swim. After swim, the 6/7 boys and girls went to the gym where they had both a snack and played various games.
