Campers at Hillcrest go on trips anywhere from one to three days per week in addition to our full-camp cookout at
Valley Stream State Park each Wednesday. N/K and Lower Camp go on trips each Tuesday. Upper Camp goes on trips each Monday & Thursday. Tweens go on an additional trip each Friday. Sample Trips: Preschool & Junior Division: Adventureland, Active Kids, Laser Bounce, Transit Museum, Movies, Bowling Senior Division: Adventureland, Jones Beach Pool, Laser Bounce, Circle Line Tour, Splish Splash (late-night pickup) Tweens: Brooklyn Bridge/Shark Speedboat, Alley Pond Adventure, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum |

Special Events

We hold a number of Special Events throughout the summer, including:
Late Night Trips: Upper Camp attends several Late-Night trips per year. These have included Splish Splash, NY Mets games, and Luna Park & Brooklyn Cyclones. Color War: The entire camp battles it out during one week of camp in athletic and creative competitions. This week includes an in-camp overnight! Hillcrest's Got Talent: During the last week of camp, we put on a Talent Show for campers and staff to show off their special skills! Last Day Carnival and Dance Party: We celebrate our last day of camp with a Carnival, including a Moon Bounce, Dunk Tank, and lots of fun booths and wrap up the day with a Dance Party! |
