July 20-July 24: Week 4 of Summer 2015

Click here to check out pictures from Week 4!

Nursery/Kindergarten

On Monday we had a fun time at gymnastics.  On Tuesday we went to Maggie Moos and had fun watching the cakes being decorated.  And we got free ice cream!  On Thursday we hung out at camp and made chocolate chip cookies!   Can't wait for family day!

6/7 Girls

The Pink Panthers had an awesome fourth week! We stayed cool in camp during hot weather on Monday when we did Arts and Crafts.  On Tuesday we went to Maggie Moos where learned how to make ice cream.  On Thursday we practiced for Family Day!  We are so excited about session 2.

8/9 Girls

The Bratz did many activities including practicing for Family Day. When we weren't practicing they were out late at Splish Splash and learning at the Jewish Culture Musuem.  As the week comes the close the Uptown Bratz are prepared to sinf their hearts out in ONEG.

10/11 Girls

The PowerPuff girls had a terrific week of trips and activities. On Monday they enjoyed a late night at Splish Splash.  The cookout had the girls playing several rounds of "tickle-tag" which they invented themselves.  The girls soaked up some sun and knowledge at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.  We topped off the week with an awesome family day.

Swim

The N/K is gaining more confidence as many of them venture into the deep end for the first time.  Upper camp swimmers are learning different techniques like the whip kick and dolphin kick.  Our most advanced swimmers worked on diving and lifeguarding skills.

Art & Jewish Culture

This week we are very happy to announce that we are sending home all the artwork the campers did in Session I.  I know you all can't wait to see what you children have been doing and they can't wait to show you!

In Jewish Culture the upper camp braided their own individual challahs while the lower camp made some double chocolate chip cookies.

6/7 Boys

The 6/7 boys had a fun enjoyable week.  All the kids are getting along great. We had a great time at Maggie Moos watching ice cream get made and then trying it.

8/9 Boys

On Monday the Justice League embarked on a late night trip to Splish Splash. The campers were given an extended period of time to go on all their favorite rides of their choice.  Splish Splash is usually the favorite trip and this summer was no exception.  On Tuesday we learned how to make Challah.  On Thursday we enjoyed The Museum of Jewish Heritage and ate lunch in Battery Park.

10/11 Boys

This week the 10/1 boys enjoyed two great trips.  On Monday the boys went on almost every ride at Splish Splash.  The trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage was fun and the boys learned a lot.  We have also been practicing very hard for family day.
